Select A TEKS and Corresponding Activity

In response to Mrs Kallas' Blog and the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills found on this website I chose the following TEKS.

Child counts 1‐10 items, with one count per item. 

This TEKS is for the Pre-Kindergarden mathematics content area.

My activity includes a video that the kids can learn to count to 10 and even higher with. This video also encourages physical activity. The kids are jumping and clapping all while learning how to count. While this video goes to 100 it can be stopped at whatever number it needs to be stopped at; in this case 10. After working on this video the kids should be able to count from 1-10 and even higher with no help.
